The 21th SOLEIL Users’ Meeting will take place from Thursday January 14th to Friday 15th, 2027 at SOLEIL.
This invaluable forum for the synchrotron radiation users’ community will provide the opportunity to exchange and learn about the evolution of the machine and the beamlines.
It will be also the occasion to share scientific, technical and practical issues about the synchrotron radiation use.
A plenary talk will cover the spectroscopic studies of magnetism and chirality at SOLEIL. Two additional plenary talks will cover cross-disciplinary aspects of synchrotron : the synchrotron seen for the human and social sciences point of view, and the contributions of the Data Reduction and Analysis Group of SOLEIL to the development of new tools and to the use of artificial intelligence for SOLEIL and SOLEIL II.
Scientific communications, selected from the submitted abstracts, will present recent and original results during the parallel sessions.
In the afternoon of January, 14th and 15th, a social time and scientific exchange will be held at SOLEIL, including the posters sessions, stands from commercial exhibitors and the dinner buffet.
On Friday 15th afternoon, three tutorials are proposed : chemometric tools for large XAS dataset, the artifical intelligence for tomography image analysis, et the use of the CasaXPS software for the data analysis of X-ray photoemission spectroscopy. A mini-symposium will be dedicated to InfraRed spectroscopy on synchrotron ; for the InfraRed community, we offer the possibility to register only to the mini-symposium.
These two days of Users’meeting will be completed on Wednesday 13th by a 1-day satellite workshop dedicated to integrative structural biology at SOLEIL (POLARIS and beamlines).
We remind the PhD students that the Roger Fourme prize, which rewards the best poster presented by a PhD student, will be awarded during the meeting. If you wish to be examined by the jury, which is composed of the S2UO members, you must explicitly apply for the award in the registration form.
