Introduction for the CLEXM SOLEIL-PASTEUR meeting :
Correlative Light Electron & X-ray Microscopy (CLEXM) integrates the strengths of three microscopy techniques to produce multimodal images of your targeted cells covering various resolutions, reaching down to the subnanometer scale.
We are extremely happy to announce a CLEXM based event co-organized by Synchrotron SOLEIL and Institut Pasteur.
During the first day, June 30th, a symposium will take place on Correlative Multimodal Imaging in Life Sciences.
Scientific talks will cover cryo sample preparations, multiscale data acquisitions, data registration and analysis within CLEXM workflows as well as applications for biological topics such as infection and host-pathogen interaction.
Confirmed key speakers are Eva Pereiro (Synchrotron SOLEIL), Anna Sartori-Rupp (Institut Pasteur), Amélie Leforestier (Universite Paris-Saclay), Johannes Groen (Institut Pasteur), Timothy Wai (Institut Pasteur), Emmanuelle Quemin (I2BC), Christoph Kaiser (MPI Biochemistry Münich), Perrine Paul-Gilloteaux (University of Nantes). In addition, all 9 PhD students from the CLEXM Marie Curie consortium will present their current results.
The event is completely free of charge, but registration is mandatory.
The symposium will take place at the Francois Jacob Auditorium, the amphitheater capacity is 120 people.
A light lunch is included and time for exchanges is foreseen at noon in the François Jacob atrium.
