Description
The talk is about a novel way to measure small beam sizes (emittances) by using multiple hole interferometry, based on a Non-Redundant Aperture mask.
The technique comes originally from the radio-astronomy, and with small variations, has proved to work well at ALBA in the field of accelerators. Furthermore, the technique allows other benefits that can potentially be applied in other fields, like wavefront sensing.
