About the workshop
The European Synchrotron Light Source Workshop (ESLS) is an annual event to keep the accelerator physics community informed about the operation and project plans of synchrotron light sources in Europe and the Middle East with a focus on storage ring based sources.
33rd European Synchrotron Light Source Workshop at Synchrotron SOLEIL
The 33rd European Synchrotron Light Source workshop will be hosted by the Synchrotron SOLEIL from Wednesday 29th to Friday 31st October 2025 at Saint-Aubin, France. The workshop program will cover all relevant aspects of the design, construction, operation and improvement of synchrotron light sources. The program covers sessions on:
- Status reports of each facility (operation and projects)
- Topical presentations relevant to the community
- Visit of SOLEIL installations
Participation in the workshop is free of charge but on invitation only, through the coordinators of each institute.
As part of the registration you will have access to the workshop, with lunch (October 30) and refreshments provided. Two nights of accommodation will also be provided (for up to two participants from each institute).
You are expected to arrange and cover the cost of your travel to and from the Synchrotron SOLEIL.
More than two participants for each institute may be able to attend the workshop, upon request.
